"Lean on me when you're not strong...."
This old chestnut tree in the Vondelpark in Amsterdam (notice the bicycles everywhere) demonstrates the strength and persistance of nature.
It's roots exposed, the giant tree is still in full flower, preparing for the spring into Summer, when it can shower conkers onto the picnicers below and they in turn can easily clamber up into it's branches and get a bird's eye view of the park.
Chestnut trees will conker all!
