Sweden denies China's 'lesbian town' reports

Sweden denies 'lesbian town' reports

Officials in Sweden have denied reports originating from China that its northern woods host a women-only, lesbian town founded in 1820. Probably getting mixed up with some areas of Amsterdam.

According to news agency Xinhua, the settlement of 25,000 people is guarded by two blonde sentries who beat up any man who enters, "half to death", was the exression used.

Some men like to be beaten up by dominant women and that would keep the 'guards' very busy. Also some women would like to beat up men and therefore there would be no shortage of 'guards'. Hmm! Still sounds like Amsterdam to me.

However, Claes Bertilson, spokesperson for Sweden's Association of Local Authorities, said: "I have no idea where something like this could have come from. I've never heard anything about it", he said, in a very disappointed way.

"At 25,000 residents, the town would be one of the largest in northern Sweden, and I find it hard to believe that you could keep something like that a secret for more than 150 years."

Supposedly known as Shakebao or Chako Paul City, the town's residents are said to be mainly homosexual because of the absence of men.

Woman who leave the town to sleep with men are said to only be allowed to re-enter if they undergo bathing and other measures to protect the settlement. Yes, right!

This is just some distorted hetero- fantasy view of homosexuality. Unfortunately, I am hetero- but certainly do not adhere to this view. What sane rational person would?

How can I explain in simple terms that the average Chinese Sun reader would understand? Let's try this! It's not that homosexuals don't like the opposite sex, they just don't like them 'in that special way' that leads to making babies, allegedly.
