Frightened White Tiger escapes magic act: Roams Vegas streets

LAS VEGAS (AP) Police in Las Vegas say a frightened and tame white tiger that escaped from a magic act has been safely re-captured.

Police say the residents in the city's northwest section reported seeing the white tiger wandering their streets Thursday night. (Normally they only come around on the weekends!)

Police Lt. Les Lane says the cat belongs to Fernando's Brothers magic act. He says the cat got loose, but "they got it back into custody."Apparently they were practicing a new 'disappearing tiger' act, which was very successful but with one small flaw. They have to find a way to stop it re-materialising in downtown Vegas!

The cat was found in a resident's backyard, in a kiddie's sandpit. The tiger was using the sandpit as a big kitty litter. Yuck! Animal Control and Metro Police are investigating the incident. A Vegas Police spokesperson said, ' We are looking into it!'

Well! rather you than me!
